Academic Advisor – Educational Talent Search
This position exists to advise and support the administration of the Educational Talent Search (ETS) grant-funded program by providing college-prep curriculum advising, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and college readiness experiences and skills for high school students in partner schools within the Dayton Public School District. The Academic Advisor is responsible for the implementation of the services and activities that are essential to achieving the goals and objectives of the Talent Search grant as approved by the US Department of Education.
Bachelor’s degree in education, management, social work or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience advising pre-college populations is required.
This position is grant funded and contingent upon the funding associated with the respective grant.
