Executive Assistant – Workers’ Compensation Trust
The Workers’ Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool (WCT-UP) of Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) seeks an Executive Assistant to support the management team with administrative tasks and projects aligned with minimizing school districts’ total cost of unemployment and workers’ compensation risk and maximizing injured workers’ outcomes. Duties include providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative support; prioritizing and analyzing support requests, and providing recommendations for action; and communicating information to staff, other organizations, public agencies, and governing bodies.
Minimum Qualifications (PSESD encourages all candidates meeting the minimum qualifications to apply)
- BA in job-related area (Community College and/or Vocational degree in same and progressively responsible job-related work experience may substitute for BA)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Writing, proofreading, and editing experience
- Experience inputting, manipulating, and analyzing data in a spreadsheet and/or database.
- Project planning experience
- Experience with meeting organization, including preparing and providing minutes for board meetings
Pre-employment proficiency testing is conducted prior to interviews

The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple projects in a busy office environment, as well as effectively collaborating with and serving as liaison between other departments, organizations, community members, and stakeholders.
This is a full-time, year ‘round exempt position, located in Renton, Washington.
Salary: $52,771 - $61,198/year. Candidate offers consider experience, qualifications and internal equity.
