Green Country Technology Center Is accepting applications for a Director of Student Services. Position requires Oklahoma Secondary School Counselor Teaching Certificate. 3-5 years counseling or supervisory experience.
Green Country Technology Center is accepting applications for a Student Services Director. The director will provide career guidance counseling for high school and adult students district wide. The director will recruit, and enroll high school students, oversee Academic Center and the testing department. Provide oversite and support for Federal Financial Student Aid, State Aid, work closely with Workforce Oklahoma, initiate and oversee grant and scholarships. Must be able to develop, organize, coordinate, and manage staff and resources efficiently. Identify enrollment and placement trends and make recommendations accordingly. Oversee Individual Education Plans, monitor modification compliance, monitor ESSA requirements. Review and recommend policy. Serve as a student leadership training mentor, model and assist in student leadership programs. Must be able to engage and build relationships at partner schools, business and industry partners. Must be a team player and work with all local and statewide staff. Applicants will meet the qualifications of the Oklahoma Department of Career Technology Education, including standard 7-12 School Counselor certificate, minimum 3 yrs. of counseling or supervisory experience. 11 month contract.
